The Electronic Clinical Resources session shares with you how to use various electronic tools on mobile devices and the internet to help you find clinical information quickly on your clinical rotations.
We will be using various electronic clinical resources throughout the session. To make sure you are ready, please ensure that you have, or can, access to the following electronic tools on your computer and/or mobile device (**these 5 are must-haves for the session).
**Tip: for the activities in the session, it may be easier to use the WEBSITE version, so you can “CTRL+F / command+F” for quick searches.
- VisualDx (app, website)
- MDCalc (app, website)
- Dynamed (app, website)
- CPS (formerly known as RxTx) (CPS/RxTx app, website) and/or Lexicomp (Lexicomp app for AHS employees such as clinical clerks – only available when you hit clerkship)
- PubMed (website)
